Cambodia Accommodation

Whether you've built your own holiday in Cambodia using our range of bite-sized Cambodia trips, or chosen from one of our suggested Cambodia holidays, you'll stay in Cambodia accommodation that reflects the character of your surroundings. You'll experience a wide variety of styles and standards of Cambodia accommodation, for example you might spend a night with a mountain tribe, in a comfortable city hotel, or in a simple bungalow on a tropical beach.

We use a hand-picked selection of authentic hotels with lots of local character, and therefore steer clear of international chains. We personally ensure that each property has the right combination of features such as cleanliness, location, friendly staff and good service. We're confident that you'll enjoy our Cambodia accommodation options just as much as our previous customers.

We use a pool of Cambodia accommodation in each destination, which means that if one hotel is full, we are able to offer another of equal standard. Once your booking is confirmed, we'll send you a comprehensive list of the hotels you'll be staying in.

Cambodia accommodation categories

Cambodia Travel Plan uses a category of 1 to 4 to rate the Cambodia accommodation we use. Our standard is category 3, and in general the Cambodia accommodation we mention throughout the website falls into this category. Our ratings are not official star ratings.

Category 1: Basic Cambodia accommodation
Basic Cambodia accommodation in a hut/tent with limited facilities. This accommodation category is not currently used for travel in Cambodia.

Category 2: Basic Cambodia accommodation
Simple but reasonably comfortable, with shared facilities usually including a warm shower. The travel module Mekong, dolphins and Laos features this type of accommodation as you stay in small villages. You'll spend the night in a small, simple room with your own bathroom.

Cambodia Accommodation - Category 4
Category 3: Comfortable Cambodia accommodation
Most of our Cambodia accommodation falls into this category. Clean, charming and well-kept, full of character and in good locations. They vary from cosy city hotels to bungalows on the beach. Most of our category 3 properties include air-conditioning, with fans available at some of the more remote locations. Our Amazing Angkor! module falls into this category.

Category 4: Special Cambodia accommodation
For some of our travel modules we feature very unique and extraordinary accommodation, slightly more expensive than our standard accommodation. However these very special places are well worth the extra costs. Maybe you want to treat yourself after a hard year at work, or are celebrating a honeymoon or anniversary. Let us know and we'll do our best to arrange something that little bit special.
